Q: What is RCTCLEARN.NET?
RCTCLEARN.NET is a member of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. We are located in Rochester, Minnesota, home of the Mayo Clinic and IBM. We provide both a comprehensive program of Internet-based (online) courses and CEU’s for the Home Health Care Nurse, Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Worker, and Hospice provider. All of the courses in the program have been developed and written expressly for Internet delivery.

Q: How many courses do you have?
Currently there are 54 courses in 6 program areas. The program areas cover End of Life Care (Hospice), Professional Healthcare, Paraprofessional Healthcare, Home Health Aide/Nursing Assistant Training and Personal Care Worker Training. You can obtain CEU’s as well as career training in the field of home care and hospice.

Q: How can I preview a course?
Just complete the Request For Preview form. After submitting the form you will receive a UserName and Password by return email within one business day. The return email will also contain complete instructions on how to access the Preview course.

Q: What is the cost?
Individual cost per contact hour is $18.00. Purchase one of our special Agency Packages and receive substantial savings and additional value. For even more savings purchase the Association Package.

Q: How do I access the courses?
After receiving your UserName and Password go to our Login Page where you’ll find boxes to enter you’re UserName and Password.

Q: What about student support?
Full student support is available 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Saturday – Sunday at 1.800.456.8519 or 1.651.556.0596 (International).

Q: Do I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, after completing each course you have the opportunity to print your certificate.

Q: Do I receive CEU’s?
Yes, each course has been designed to meet continuing education requirements.   The course description, objectives, instructor information and contact hours are all found on the “Course Syballus ”.  This sheet is designed for you to print and save it along with your certificate of completion in your continuing education records. 

The course sheet also identifies the intended audience for each course.   While each course has been designed to meet the continuing education needs of the identified audience, it is the responsibility of each user to verify that the course content meets his or her individual licensing/certification requirements.
